Will the shower filter reduce my water pressure?Updated 2 months ago

The Infinity Shower Filter is engineered to provide effective filtration while maintaining consistent water pressure.

However, as with any shower filter, a gradual reduction in pressure over time can indicate that the filter cartridge is full and needs replacing. To ensure optimal performance, we recommend replacing the Infinity Shower Filter Cartridge every 6 months or after filtering 40,000 litres of water.

Replacement timeframes are based on metropolitan-treated town water quality and may vary depending on water usage and the quality of your source water.

For the Handset, Raindrop & Streamline Shower Filters

  • zazen Streamline Shower Filter – There will be no change to water pressure upon installation. However, if pressure decreases over time, it indicates that the filter cartridge is full and needs replacing.

  • zazen Handset & Raindrop Shower Filters – These are WELS-rated at 9L/minand comply with water-saving regulations. Your water pressure will depend on your previous showerhead:
    • If your previous showerhead was already water-saving (9–15 LPM), you won’t notice a difference in pressure.
    • If your previous showerhead had a higher flow rate, you may experience a reduction in pressure due to compliance with WELS standards.
